Polymer Clay is a kind of molding clay that can be baked and it will be as hard as plastic in which you can make use of it as charms , accessories or even action figures. Clay is one of my favorite mediums when it comes to art that’s why I am grabbing this opportunity to learn this craft and use it for business purposes as well.

I saw some clayists who sell their wonderful and brilliant creations online. Most of them create miniature foods and action figures while others are good at making accessories and pendants. They match it with jewelries with real values to add more beauty. Murano style beads are actually ideal too to make the charms more appealing. You can add them up for your necklace or bracelet creations.

I am really excited about this and I just can’t wait for my upcoming workshop sessions this June. I’ll buzz more about it soon.

I came across a very nice article last night and i want to share it with you. These are the 4 tips on how to ward off depression. I’ve been suffering from a serious depression guys and if you just know how much i wanted to overcome this nightmare.

Identify the symptoms of depression.

►Serious depression : perpetual sadness, slow reaction of mind and body, morbid and bitter self criticism.

►Mild Depression: discouragement, loneliness, disconsolateness, feelings of inferiority, getting no fun out of life.

Practice Hope. As hopefulness becomes a habit, you can achieve a permanently happy spirit.

Right eating, right exercising, right thinking, right praying, right living, these tone up vitality.

Practice of thought replacement can bring about spirit transfusion.

►Replace each weak thought with a strong one.

►Replace each negative thought with a positive one.

►Replace each hate thought with a loving one.

►Replace each gloomy thought with a lifted one.

I hope i can do these all effectively and overcome my depression in no time.

Remember what happened to Ever Gotesco Mall? The fire that lasted for more than nine hours damaging million worth of properties? I wonder how devastating it would be for those tenants who are renting a space on that mall. I have heard that some stall owners tried to enter the mall to salvage their wares but no one allowed them to enter.

Who should be blamed? Who shall take the responsibilities of all the loses? Who will take care of all those damages? Well, on the first place, i think that the establishment itself is too old and weak thats why fire scattered immediately, destroying the entire place and turned them into ashes in just few hours. They should have made it stronger or better yet make use of steel building instead of weak materials. Well, the damage has been done but I am hoping that they learned something from that instrument. Since the mall is currently undergoing a renovation, i wish they could have chosen a strong materials this time to prevent it from happening again.

This is the exact thing that I am thinking right now after filing my resignation letter. I love my job to be honest and I really don’t want to leave the company. I was valued here and I feel like they’re all appreciating my efforts. Assigning me as an OIC after my fifth month of stay, is such a great experience and achievement for me. However, i have to put an end to it because of so many reasons. I only have 9 days left to render and it hurts me so much especially now that I found great friends. I don’t know what path to take next but I know God will always be here to guide me . Oh well, I guess, that would beee a great time for me to have a come back here in the blogosphere and I am also planning to start an online business soon. In fact, I’m preparing myself for it and I signed myself for a workshop to learn more about that craft. I will definitely buzz more about it soon.

I only have 12 days to render in my office and after my resignation, I am planning to have an ultimate vacation with my family. Okay, I think I’m talking here exaggeratedly because I’m not really aiming for a long term vacation. Just a couple of days will do and it is ideal enough for me to keep all my stress away.

I don’t want it to be luxurious just like what I usually see in magazines but i want it fair enough to accommodate all my needs. I want to stay in a Hotel with clean and inviting facilities just like what I’ve seen at OVH.com. I wonder if we have the same place here or at least closer to that. But anyway, what matters most to me is that I can enjoy every moment of my stay and have a great vacation experience too.

Hi Guys, Sorry for my very late post. I barely have time to blog recently because of my current work but as what they say, “it’s better late than never” right? So lemme finish my Visita Iglesia post. This is the fourth part of my Visita Iglesia 2012. (Kindly read the Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 in case you missed it) .

Anyway, going back to my Visita Iglesia journey, here’s a short recap of the churches I visited.

1. Don Bosco Church Makati

2. Baclaran Church Parañaque

3. Santa Maria Magdalena Church – Kawit

After the Kawit Church, I went ahead to a small chapel located in Panamitan Kawit Cavite. You can see the church after crossing the Panamitan Bridge. It’s a small and quite unknown chapel in Panamitan but that doesn’t bother me at all and besides the main goal here is to pray and to recite the Stations of the cross.

So after that, I went to an Aglipayan Church in Noveleta Cavite. Just like the Panamitan Chapel, it is my first time here and that was a great experience exploring those churches that I’ve ever been.

Finally, going back to my hometown, Cavite City. Of course, I went to look for my mom and my Auntie. I went ahead another Aglipayan Church in Cavite City.

And then a few distance away, I proceed to the historical Saint Peter Parish Church which never failed to amazed me with its old yet gorgeous-looking building.

After Saint Peter, I decided to go to San Antonio. Even though it is quite far from Saint Peter, I decided that to walk (just imagine how much sacrifice Jesus had offered bearing the cross right?)

So I finally, made it to another church. The San Antonio Parish Church and I managed to see my Mom and my siblings so as my Tita and my cousin Ichan.

(Mom and Tita striking a pose)

I decided to go the separate way since they’re done visiting the rest of the churches in Cavite City. I went to Porta Vaga Church in PN (Philippine Naval) .

And then I went to San Roque Parish Church which is just few blocks away from our house.

It was a very rewarding experience indeed and I hope I’m going to have the same experience next year!

To Summarized it all here are the churches I visited.

4. Panamitan Chapel in Kawit

5. Aglipayan Church in Noveleta

6. Aglipayan Church in Cavite City

7. Saint Peter Parish Church in Cavite City

8. San Antonio Parish Church

9. Porta Vaga Church

10. San Roque Parish Church

A person who skillfully and professionally plays a guitar may be called as guitarist but have you ever wonder why there are 2 or more of them in a band? Well, simply because each guitarists has a special guitar which plays certain function or purpose. This is something I have learned from my cousin after attending a school event in where in they delivered a special number.

Sorry if the picture is not that clear but right there on the stage is my cousin (the guy on the right), with his fellow band members. As far as I remember, they called themselves as “Intensity”. They are indeed an amateur band but having such great opportunity to perform on stage in front of many viewers is in fact a great stepping stone to nourish his skills in the future.

Going back to guitars, as what I have mentioned, each guitarist play a certain type of guitars. My cousin is a Base guitarist , the guy wearing white shirt on the left is their Lead guitarist while the person beside him plays the Rhythm. Bass or Base guitar produces deeper tones and bassists used to interpolate dead notes between slaps and pops to achieved rapid percussive effect. Lead guitars on the other hand are those higher tunes and usually used for song bridges and probably the highlight of each song performance. Certified rockers make use of those well known lead guitars like Jackson because aside from being high in quality, they got these very stylish looks that suits every rocker’s taste. Oh how I wish i know how to play the guitar as well. Sobs.

Oh well, of course, he’s still a kid and he’ll be turning 9 this coming September but the way he act like now is way too far from what he was before. I’ve been very close to him ever since despite of the huge difference with our age. I don’t mind playing with him the whole day and I simply treasured those moments. I’m a one big proud brother indeed and just like what happened few weeks ago where Milzon attended a Recognition Day in his school and was awarded with a medal, I was like jumping out from my chair and I was like shouting due to extreme happiness. This is my brother’s very first medal and I know that he felt the same way of excitement as I did.
My mom took him on stage to give his medal. I’m not getting any younger it seems. Anyway, i am really proud of you Milzon and may you have many more medals and recognitions to come.

It’s my ultimate dream actually. i would love to play a guitar just like my cousin, however, i know nothing about it and how to flock the strings properly. I was with my cousin last weekend and I asked him to teach me the basics. He got a rhythm and a base guitar and he also have a piano at home. He is indeed a music lover and I wish I could have such talent like that. He taught me about the keys and sharps and everything but I am not so sure if i was able to absorb everything. And then , as he turned on his ultrasound amplifier on his studio-type room, I told him to play first so I can watch him how to do it properly. Okay, after that jaw-dropping performance of him, he asked me to try it. Oh God! It turned out as a mess and the sounds (or should I called it “noice” haha) scattered everywhere , irritating my ear drums and all. Well, I just said to myself, maybe guitar-playing is something not meant for me. Maybe, I’ll try the piano LOL.

So After visiting St John Bosco Church Makati, I went to Redemptorist Church or more popularly known as the Baclaran Church. It is also known as the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. The shrine is one of the largest Marian churches in the Philippines, authorized by the Holy See to remain open 7 days a week for 24 hours a day, and houses one of the most venerated and celebrated Marian images in the country, called Our Mother of Perpetual Help, to which miraculous powers and historic events are ascribed.

And since, i got a wrong leaflet to read, I decided to buy a new one in front of the said church. I decided to repeat the first two stations again and another 2 stations as well. Generally speaking, I did 4 Stations of the Cross at Baclaran Chruch.

While in Baclaran, i got a text message from my mom and my auntie that they will be starting their visitation. They will start in Cavite so I’m afraid I can’t go along with them.

Anyway, after the Baclaran Church, I went to Cavite immediately. I went to the wonderful and historical Church of Kawit Cavite.

(picture taken from the web)

It is also known as the Santa Maria Magdalena Church. The first church made of wood was constructed in 1638 with the help of six families from Silang and Maragondon. It is indeed one of the oldest churches in Cavite.

More post to come about my Visita Iglesia Trip!
