I’ve been a big fan of Taylor Swift ever since. I love Country music and i guess that would be one of the major factor why i am so attracted to her songs. Last night, January 31st, is such a big night for both Taylor Swift and Beyonce Knowles. Taylor smashes out Grammy by winning 4 major awards including “Best Female Country Vocal Performance”, “Best Country song” for her “White Horse”, “Best Country Album”, and ofcourse the “Album of the Year” award. Taylor Swift marked a history for being the youngest artist to win “Album of the Year” award at the age of 20.

Taylor Swift is one of my favorite Country singers along with Carrie Underwood, Gloriana and classic country hit makers including Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson. Taylor Swift start gaining award after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards where Kanye West disses her out during her Acceptance speech for winning Best Female Video for her hit song “You belong with me” saying that Beyonce video( Single Ladies) should have wonm the title.

Her album “Fearless”  has topped the Billboard 200 in 11 non-consecutive weeks; no album has spent more time at No. 1 since 2000. Forbes ranked Swift 2009’s 69th-most powerful celebrity with earnings of $18 million. Swift was named Artist of the Year by Billboard Magazine in 2009. In January 2010 Nielsen SoundScan lists Swift as the top-selling digital artist in music history with over 24.3 million digital tracks sold to date.

This is such a huge success for a 20 year old singer. Cheers for Taylor Swift!!

Have you ever read a book that talks about Dragons? Just like Lord of the Rings. But this time i would like to share you this book written by Christopher Paolini, entitled “ELDEST”. I guess you are familiar with the movie “ERAGON” right?

Eldest is the second book in the Inheritance trilogy. It will take you into the world filled with dragons, elves, and sorcerers~ one you can be a hero, no matter how young you are. In this epic tale, Eragon is a young boy from the distant land of Alageasia.

Along with his dragon, Saphira, he is people’s last hope against eveil empire Galbatorix, but he must frist develop his knowledge of magic and improve his battle skills under the watchful eyes of wise, experienced Oromis. read this book when you have lots of spare time, because like “The Lord of the Rings” its got a long story, a big cast of characters and its very own language( for which there’s even a pronuncuiation guide!)

Okay, here i am again and i would love to share another Goosebumps Stories. I wonder where did R.L. Stine got these scary stories but anyways, here’s another book i want to share with you,

GOOSEBUMPS: DON’T GO TO SLEEP

A twelve year old kid named Mattew Amsterdam wants nothing more than to have a bigger bed room. The one that he has is so small, he keeps accidentally knocking stuff off the shelves.
