I never had a good sleep. I am lucky enough to sleep for more than 4 hours. I am a certified night owl and even how much I tried to sleep; it seems really not working for me. As a result, I am having a migraine that is very irritating. It affects my mood as if I was shouting on everyone which is really embarrassing. It also affects my work because I cannot perform my job well. Even my eating habit is really much affected too as if I lost my appetite and don’t want to eat anything. I really hate it when migraine attacks me. My mom advised me to take some rest and take some migraine treatment drugs to ease the pain. I think I should get off from work for at least 2 weeks and take a vacation somewhere else where I can relax and think.

Eczema is a non-curable skin disease. Some of its symptoms are extreme drying of the skin, recurring skin rushes, itching, flaking or even bleeding in some skin areas. This is not curable and it’s very hard to treat especially if it is a severe eczema. Some cases of eczema are hereditary while some are caused by some environmental factors like the weather impact and more. Even though this disease is not curable, there are treatments being developed, making the disease much more bearable. It is quite surprising but reportedly, over fifteen million of Americans have eczema. I know it is very alerting but the good thing about this eczema even though it is not curable is that, we can do something to control it and prevent it from getting worst. Some undergo cosmetic surgeries while other uses some helpful and useful treatments for it. There are other ways to treat eczema other than medical operation; you can make use of some moisturizers like lotion and Vaseline which are inexpensive yet very effective! There are also some creams made specifically to treat eczema and a whole lot more. If you want to learn more about eczema, you can visit http://www.eczema.com/ and see more of the details on how to treat this disease.

Eczema is a kind of skin disease which is not curable. It is not curable but you can control it by using some eczema treatment technology and prevent them from getting worst.  There are many ways to treat eczema. Some undergo series of medication, some undergo therapies, some uses steroids and creams while other treat it in a natural way like applying herbal plants onto skin like Aloe Vera and kelp while some uses lotion and Vaseline gel to moisturize the skin. We cannot escape the signs of wrinkles. As we grow older and older, these wrinkles will get worst. The skin will sag making your wrinkles more visible. Even though we cannot escape the sign of aging, we can do something about it to make it less visible. If you are rich and brave enough to afford medical surgeries, then you must try a cosmetic surgery that is widely known as “face lift” or “Botox”. But if you are wise enough, you can just stick with some aging creams which are also effective to remove those wrinkles and unwanted age spots and dark circles. There’s eye cream for dark circles and creams specifically made for wrinkles. It is so true that we are not getting any younger and we will all face and experience those signs of aging but it doesn’t mean that we cannot do something about it. There’s always a solution for everything and all it takes is for us to discover.

We should accept the fact that all of us will reach the point of growing old and we should also expect all the unexpected. We are not getting any younger and from time to time, we will soon experience all the signs of aging. We cannot escape these signs but we can do something about it to make them less visible. We can use some creams and ointments to lessen the visibility of wrinkles and age spots. We are lucky enough that there are now what so-called “age spots removal” creams that will definitely remove the age spots. If you want to make it much faster, you can also undergo some surgeries and other related medical procedure. However, Surgeries are quite risky especially if you want to a wrong surgeon. So for me, applying creams is much advisable and much safer to use. You just have to be aware with what products re you going to deal with. Be sure that you will be dealing with a well-trusted brand and it is better if you seek some medical advice first or read some online product reviews before buying any product.

Do not worry that much of getting old because there are lots of products that will makes us feel younger! Just live life to the fullest!

I am not that expert when it comes to medicine but this information took my attention. I found a medicine-related book yesterday and found this information about “Aspirins”.  I guess all of you are familiar with the disease called “Dengue” right? It is deadly disease carried by mosquitoes. It is deadly if you failed to take immediate action to it.  I remember that the Department of Health warned everyone not to take aspirin as an immediate cure for colds and flu. Because if this person has Dengue , aspirin will just worsen the condition.

So here are the Basic Tips To Know About Aspirins.

1. Aspirins deaden pain and so bring relief, but by taking them indiscriminately, there is a possible risk that more serious medical symptoms will go unnoticed as the pain dies down.

2. Aspirins are not a cure! They are pain killers and should be treated as such.

3. If you have any persistent pain or ache, you should seek medical advice to find the cause, rather than doze your self with aspirins. Doctors agree that aspirins are invaluable for the relief of headaches, menstruation pains and cold symptoms. Without Aspirins, they say, their Monday morning surgeries would be given even more packed with patients. The only provisions is that they urge caution when taking them.

4.Some elderly people take aspirins night and morning habitually which could be dangerous unless done under medical supervision. This is because aspirin is acetyl-salicylic acid, which can irritate the lining of the stomach and cause slight internal bleeding. That does not mean every time you take an aspirin you lose few drops of blood, as some people believed. There is the risk though, that prolonged dosage will cause bleeding.

5. Nobody should take more than three aspirins at a time. Never take more than six in a day unless on medical advice.

(will Share the Part 2 in my next post)

If you are someone like me who cannot resist the temptations of eating fatty foods such as pork, egg, and more dishes, i guess it is time for you to change. This is the continuation of my post about Artificial respiration. This info is being share to me by my nurse Auntie Heidi!

Back Pressure-Arm Lift Method.

  1. Position of the subject.  Place the subject on the face down, prone position. Bend his elbow and place the hands one upon the other. Turn his face to one side, placing his cheek upon his hand.
  2. Position of the Operator. Kneel on either the right or the left knee at the head of the subject facing him. Place the knee at the side of the subject’s head close to the forearm. If it is more comfortable, kneel on both knees, one on either side of the subject’s head. Place your hands upon the flat of the subject’s back in such away that the wrists lie just below a line running between the armpits. With the tips of his thumbs just touching, spread fingers downward and outward.
  3. Compression Phase. Rock forward until the arms approximately vertical and allow the weight of the upper part of your body  to exert slow, steady, even pressure downward upon the hands.
  4. Position of the Expansion phase. Release the pressure, avoiding a final thrust, commence to rock slowly , backward. Place your hand upon the subject’s arm. just above his elbow.
  5. Expansion phase. Draw his arms upward and toward you.

Thank you Aunt Heidi for sharing me this information!

Tips on Proper Artificial Respiration

Just recapping what i learned from school! Hehe hope you enjoy it and hope you learn something new!

Mouth to mouth Method.

  1. Place the person who has stopped breathing on his back.
  2. Clean the mouth and throat completely to ensure an open airway to the lungs.
  3. Tilt the head back so that the chin points upward and lift his lower jaw from beneath and behind so that it juts out.
  4. Start artificial respiration immediately. The most important life saving action is to get air into the person’s  lungs either through his mouth or his nose. Open your mouth wide and place it tightly over the person’s mouth. Pinch his nose shut. Or you may close the victim’s mouth and place your mouth over his nose. With an infant or small child. Place your mouth over both his nose and mouth, making an airproof seal.
  5. Blow into the mouth or nose, continuing to hold the unconscious person’s lower jaw, so that it juts out to keep the air passage open.
  6. Remove your mouth from the patient’s mouth. Turn your head to the side and listen to the return of the out flowing air coming from patient’s lungs. If you hear it, you will know that an exchange of air has occurred.
  7. You can then continue your breathing  for the patient. Blow vigorously into his mouth or nose 12 times a minute (20 times / min for infant)
  8. If you are not getting an exchange of air, turn the person on his side ans strike him several times between the shoulder blades.
  9. Normal breathing will start anytime.
