This is where is place my Desktop computer. It is sitting on the corner of my room along with other of my messy stuffs. Errr, I know I’m quite messy and as you can see the wirings are quite out of place too so as my other things. Don’t worry I’m trying to fix these soon. They said that your room will reflect your personality so I guess you know now how messy I am in real life haha. I seldom used my Desktop now but it used to be my Knight in shining armor whenever my lappie is giving me trouble. Oh and I just can’t give or sell it like that because i have some important files saved in this computer hehe.

I had a horrible experience last night with my PC. Milzon accidentally placed a big magnet on top of my desktop monitor and after removing the magnet, the monitor went crazy because there are some discolored spots on my monitor which is really not so good to see. This discoloration usually happened to bulky and old type of monitors and i had the same experience before. So i tried to fix the issue myself by simply degaussing the monitor manually. Most PC degauss automatically after they are being rebooted but in my case, i tried to reboot the PC several times but the discolored portions are still there.

It is really simple to degauss a PC. Some people make used of magnets which is really not advisable because it will just make the condition  worst and there is a huge possibility for the discoloration to become permanent. Degaussing it manually using the PC controls is still the best thing to do.

To start, you just have to press the “Menu” button located somewhere in your PC Monitor. A small window will pop up on your screen showing some icons. Simply select the “Degauss” icon. The icons may vary depending on the model of your pc. Degauss icon usually accompanied by a picture similar to horseshoe. Press the Select button. You will know if the computer is degaussing itself because it makes a typical “dwoing”-like sound and, in some cases, distort the image on nearby screens.

In some cases, degaussing monitor will not work at first so you have to try it several times. But if the condition and the discoloration is still there, better bring your monitor to a technician.

Most likely they will use soldering irons or tape eraser to fix it. To avoid this scenario, you should keep those electromagnetic device away from your monitor like Speakers and cellphones.

Don’t you like the title of this post? I named it “Cam-ERA” because i am about to compare cameras from 2 different eras, the old and modern era! It’s almost been a year now since i got this Sony Cyber Shot. I just love taking photos whether through my Caméscopes numériques ( A french term for Digital Camcorders) or through my phone camera (though the graphics isn’t that good). I don’t mind using our old SLR camera too. I used to bring my camera with me whenever i travel. And it used to be a very important tool for a blogger like me. My blogs will look boring without photos. The more photos i upload, the more exciting my blog would be for my readers. Time really run out so fast, i remember my mom used to bring the “photographic film” to the nearest Photo Shop and let them be printed. And then along with the printed colored photos are the film negatives that my brother and I used to play with when we were kids. The Photos are being stored in an album and we placed them underneath the coffee table so that we can share them with our guests. And now, look! We have these digital cameras which are very accessible, Easy-to -used, hassle free, and also, we can save money from it knowing that there’s no need for us to  pay for photo printing. We can easily upload the photos online through those social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and also through some Image hosting sites as well.  This reminds me of the old magazine that we found few months ago from my mom’s closet. Just take a look at these old bulky cameras.

Just look at this Old Nikon Camera. I wonder how heavy it would be. I’ sure this is now considered as one of those collectible items with high price value.

Look at the camera accessories. It’s kinda hassle to bring them all right? Thanks God we have geniuses out there who developed this gadget into something more portable, convenient and useful. Whew!

I was not in the mood yesterday and i was really upset because my HP laptop started not to work again. It all started when my computer got infected by a malicious software. I am not a techie guy so i can do nothing to fix it myself. So i have no choice but to give again my technician a call! Right now, i am using my desktop computer which is also not cooperating with me. It runs so slow and i couldn’t even watch YouTube videos! I don’t know if it is something to deal with my Internet Connection or something to deal with my Operating System. I’ve been using Windows ever since i bought my very first computer and now that i am experiencing series of technical issues with them, i think i better start making a switch. I should have bought an Mac Computer on the first place. I have heard so many good things about it and i know that there are mac cleanup software exclusively made for MAC to make your pc performs faster and safer. For the mean time, i have to wait for my HP laptop, it is still on the repair shop and hopefully they’ll fix it as soon as possible! Internet is my life. My job is barely relying on it and i can’t work without my laptop. Sobs!

I might be dreaming but i really want to have an Ipad. I know how expensive this gadget is but is it really right to spend such a huge amount for a gadget like an Ipad? Well for me, it isn’t bad at all knowing that you can do a lot of things with this gadget more than what other gadgets can give.

It has 1024 x 768 wide screen that offers graphics that are high in definition. It can load web pages extremely fast too. It offers up to 64GB memory capacity compare to the 16 and 32 GB Memory offered by Iphones. It also has larger keyboards compare to Iphones. It has many applications than any gadgets can offer.

With all these advantages, who could have wish to have it! But i guess for someone like me, it will take a lot of preparation, savings and budgeting before i can avail such an expensive gadget. Well, maybe cash advance loans can cover all the cost. I haven’t tried it yet but i have heard about the advantages of loans from some of my colleagues. Maybe i should give it a try. What do you think?

Time really run out so fast and could you imagine that we are almost counting now the days to welcome the new year of 2011. Well 2010 has been a good year to me. I was able to buy things that i love like my hp laptop

and guess what i was able to buy this using the money i earned from my freelancing job that’s why i am very proud of it!

I also got my new Sony Cyber Shot this year. It was given to me by my Uncle as his Christmas gift.

And for the year 2011, i do wish that i will get more blessings. I have a lot of plans for the next year and on of them is to buy an Ipad. Well, i know Ipad is quite expensive that’s why i started to save my money as early this month in order to buy such gadget. I really don’t mind spending that big amount for tha sake of this gadget since it is almost a great investment already and besides, i’m sure they come up with ipad warranty in case there’s some technical issue with the product.

I have been using this HP laptop for almost three years now and i think that’s long enough to consider buying a new one. I am spending most of my time in front of my computer and that’s how essential this gadget is to me. I actually have desktop computer  but since i hve to go to work everyday, i decided to buy this laptop so that i can bring this with me and do my daily onlin activities while working and that’s what i called multi tasking haha! (Just hoping not to be caught by my boss LOL) Well, i can still manage to open my emails and take a peak to my blogs if the bosses are not around haha. Anyway, my sister is requesting me to buy her a laptop too but i told her that i will just give this laptop to her and i will buy new one for myself. Just went online last night to search for some cool ordinateurs portables (laptops) online and to see how much does the newest model cost. I will try to canvass first and compare the prices. Yikes… it sounds like i’m gonna be cutting down my budget this month!

Waah! I feel very upset today! My laptop is not working again! I just had it be repaired last week but then it is still not working. Well, i have no choice but to use my old, bulky and very slow-performing Desktop. I guess i have to bring my lappie to a technician again or maybe it is much wiser if i go and apply for an online payday loan to help me buy a brand new laptop. I just got this brand new portable electronics from my uncle today! Its  a Sony Cyber-Shot  DSC-w130 Point. It has 12.1 megapixels. I’ve been requesting this gadget from my uncle and i am very thankful that he granted my wish this time. This is my first time to try a Digital Camera. Usually, i used my cellphone camera to take pictures but now that i have this very cool Sony Cyber-shot, expect me to share more photos in a very nice and high definition more frequently. Of course, i will never know how good this camera is if i will not try it myself. Here, i took some photos of our newly buy Christmas tree.
