Halloween is nearly approaching and as a matter of fact, Milzon and I are planning to make some Halloween crafts at home. I’m sure his  school will organize another Halloween Party just like what they did last year in which we had so much fun. Halloween is usually associated with some fun activities and events including the Jack O Lantern Carvings and Trick or Treating. Most establishments and houses are being decorated to provide some haunted attractions for kids. Halloween costume Parties are pretty in demand today not just for kids but for all ages as well.

Looking back at last year’s event, I’m glad that I was able to save some pictures.

These are some wall decors that we made (Jack O Lantern and Frankenstein) . We make use of colored papers and some pieces of strings, making them inexpensive yet lovely Halloween hanging decorations. We made spider webs and life size skeleton too to add more spirit on the occasion.

Halloween Costumes doesn’t have to be very expensive especially for kids and in fact, you can make your own costumes by simply using some used materials and input some of your creativity and I’m sure you’ll end up in something good. The pictures above are few of the costumes that we made last year. Milzon’s Bloody Knife Headgear is actually my personal favorite. Who would have thought that we will come up with such wonderful craft out of used aluminum foil and card board. To make his costume complete, we asked him to wear an old “Barong Tagalog”. Mirasol, on the other hand is wearing a Fairy-inspired head gear which is a very popular costume theme for girls. Funny, but we make use of old Christmas balls for her antenna and her old pink gown as well to complete her Fairy costume. We improvised fairy wings too to make it more attractive.

As For Adult Costumes, I don’t think it is advisable to make costumes out of recycled materials anymore unless you are so creative. Shown above are two of the costumes I’ve seen last year. The Avatar-inspired costume is quite in demand during that time. I think it requires a lot of effort because you have to cover your self with body paint and you have to buy a wig and a pair of wings to complete the Avatar set. The Scream face- inspired costume on the other hand is very common and not so thrilling anymore. For girls, you can try out those sexy bunny costumes or Playboy-inspired suits which are pretty in demand today. If you want to be more unique, then why not try a Lady Gaga-inspired outfits? Anyway, no matter what costumes you wear, what matters most here is to bring and feel the fun.

My sister Mirasol made this lovely bag out of her old T Shirt. What a creative idea right?

I think what she did here is that she cut this Sailor Suit Inspired T Shirt in to half and take the upper portion of it. She sew all the openings including the armpit areas. Of course she left the main opening here. And then she make use of MY black and White checkered Scarf as the shoulder bag strap. Hey let me tell you that she used my scarf without my permission! Grrr. She didn’t add so many details since the T shirt Strife design is cool enough already. She only added two wooden buttons to make it more appealing.

Anyway, you did a great job here Mira even though you took my scarf without asking my permission. Kudos! Do you like it too? Start searching old clothes in your closet and make your own Tee Bag too.

You guys are aware about the recently done renovation in our house. I am so happy to tell you guys that we are almost done. All rooms have been painted and all things that have to be replaced and fixed are done. We also bought new set of furniture for our living room and for our dining room as well. It is my father who bought wooden furniture for our living room and according to him he wanted to feel that he’s embracing the nature by buying wooden and rustic furniture.

If you will be asking me, i would rather buy modern couches because it is more comfortable than wooden furniture. It is quite frustrating but i have no choice but to agree with my dad. Anyway, wooden furniture is not bad at all. I will just try to convince them in the near future to buy modern style furniture to make it more appropriate in time and more stylish as well.

Diamonds are said to be one of the most expensive yet the wisest gift that you could ever give to someone. Diamonds are known for their long lasting durability. Diamonds are forever as its beauty never fades. They are also a great investment because their value gets higher from time to time. Some are buying diamond-made jewelries like necklace, rings and earrings and give it to their special someone. While other are fond of buying pure and loose diamonds to add in their collection. Diamonds might be so expensive but it is like a treasure that you can keep for a life time. If ever i found the right girl for me and will be proposing to marry me, i will make sure that i will give her a diamond ring as a sign of my forever loyalty to her.

It is summer already and I just can’t wait for our upcoming summer vacation party. The party will be held in the beach so I really have to work on with my body. Well, I guess it’s pretty normal for a guy to try impressing girls by showing up our great build under the sun. I started working out in gym everyday and extend my hours of stay. I also minimize the foods that I eat. I check on the food labels to know if I’m taking calories too much. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I also drink a lot of water because water plays a very important role in diet and it is also a great appetite suppressant knowing that water can make you fill full. I am also thinking of taking diet pills again. Diet pills are actually safe as long as you are not using it abusively. Some diet pills have side effects while some is not effectively working at all. So you better go with those diet pills with trusted name and proven effective and have no side effects. You better search it online and read some reliable forums and check some diet pill reviews before buying any dietary products. Do not just trust cheap dietary supplements because most of them are ineffective and imitations. I would rather trust those expensive yet effective supplements than risking myself in cheaper products. Just be observant and that’s the key!

Eyeglasses serve as the main tool for eye protection and vision correction. Nowadays, this pair of eyeglasses has become more useful and plays a very important role especially in the fashion industry. So far, I don’t wear any prescription glasses but according to my mom, wearing non-prescription glasses is quite risky and I better start trying to wear eyeglasses as prescribe by an eye specialist and besides there are available fashion frames with wide variety of designs.

I love transparent eye glasses because I feel more comfortable with it. I started collecting eyeglasses when I was in college and I try to buy multiple glasses with different styles and designs so that I can match them up with my clothes.
